Dilgers Central Garage has a long family history dating back to when John Dilgers’ grandfather, Don Dilger, started the business in Queenstown in 1932. Since then 4 generations of the Dilgers family have worked within the business located at 3 Cutten Street, Queenstown, servicing the West coast of Tasmania.
Over time the business has evolved from repairing push bikes to now repairing and servicing all makes and models of vehicles. Being the only repairer located in the area, John has adapted his skills to cater for the vast amount of differing repair jobs that come his way. The most recent addition to the team is Ethan Williams, who comes from the local town of Zeehan and is employed as a first year apprentice. Dilgers Central Garage will tackle anything from a small motor repair to complex electronic diagnostics on the modern motor vehicle and have the necessary knowledge and specialised equipment to do so. John and Ethan are supported by Leonie who handles office administration duties and customer relations.
The latest Diagnostic and Scan tool equipment is kept up to date so John and his team can get you back on the road fast and efficiently. Customers range from the local farmer and industry personnel to the travelling grey head nomad enjoying the beautiful sights of the apple aisle.
